We live in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world.  Organisations and communities are facing the challenge of developing more complex responses through processes involving diverse groups of individuals with different perspectives and areas of expertise. 

This means that we need more individuals with the ability to empower and motivate others to respond to these new challenges.  Therefore, the presence and empowerment of such individuals is becoming increasingly critical for the success of both organisations and communities.  The qualities they demonstrate, leadership qualities, need to be fostered at all levels of our communities and organisations.  OnCourse provides a unique opportunity for individuals to develop and refine these skills.

Our ability and confidence to deliver the licence has been greatly informed by our in-depth experience in running five programmes in the city of Nottingham and two rural programmes in North Nottinghamshire.   In addition, we have offered the programme in a distance learning format and as a blended learning option across the East Midlands region.

Since the first pilot in 2002 we have taken 200 participants through the programme.
